Style Showdown: Paz Vega and Cate Blanchett Break Out the Bordeaux Courtesy of Gucci and More Matching Celebs

This week’s showdown spans several different fashion weeks. From the just-wrapped Haute Couture festivities to last year’s unveiling of the Spring 2014 collections, a number of looks have been caught pulling double-duty. An innovative Christopher Kane Resort 2014 dress also had us doing a double-take when a couple of celebs opted for the contrasting creation at two separate events. Now it’s your turn to weigh in on who deserves top billing when it comes to each of the following scenarios.

Since Gucci co-hosted the private screening of James Franco’s documentary The Director during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week Spring 2014, it made sense that Paz would pick this silk cady long sleeve Fall 2013 dress with flared skirt from the fashion house for the unveiling. Gucci provided her satin Lady Lock bag and the actress capped off the look with a set of suede sandals. Cate also selected the bordeaux strong shoulder dress back in September as she posed for a Milan Fashion Week Spring 2014 portrait session. She rounded out the look with a golden pair of Christian Louboutin Sylvette sandals. Do you like Paz’s retro bag and pale pink sandals or favor Cate’s more polished finish?
