The 2014 InStyle Men of Style Party went down last night, the glossy teaming with Hugo Boss to host the lavish event at Sydney’s Hilton. Many well-known Australian stars, minus those sitting front row or getting street-snapped at NYFW, graced the black carpet in their best cocktail-party attire. Even though the night was all about the talented men of this world, we’re taking a closer look at the getups from the girls. Because how creative can one really get with a suit, anyway?

Laura Dundovic looked smokin’ in an all-black getup, including an apron dress by Yeojin Bae, pointed-toe pumps and a zipper clutch. The model spruced up the look with gold drop-earrings, plus a simple green opal-shaped ring. Laura managed to look extremely classy with a parted updo and clean, fresh makeup.

Even though winter is over, actress Abby Earl has opted for the season’s moody hues in burgundy and black. Wearing Gucci, the tough-feminine look included a collared leather top, pleated A-Line skirt and patent-black knee-high boots accented with silver Horsebit detail. Abbey pulled her hair back and kept makeup to a minimum, which stopped the outfit from looking too harsh.

Dannii Minogue stunned in a simply elegant black halter gown by Hugo Boss with silver detailing around the neckline and waist. She accessorised with Canturi jewels, including the diamond earrings and black-sapphire ring, and added dark eye makeup for a bit of added sex appeal.
