Take Your Part Even Deeper this Fall with Opening Ceremony’s Windswept Look

Opening Ceremony - nyfw

If there’s one thing we love about runway beauty it’s that it doesn’t always have to work. Just look at the brows at Alexander Wang. With that in mind, it’s time to bring back the comb-over and we’ve got Opening Ceremony leading the way. Forget the wispy comb-overs of creepy men past, this look is all about the deep side part. Designers have been flirting with the side part for a few seasons but this is one step further. Stylist Anthony Turner applied a Thickening Spray by Bumble and bumble ($28) and then used a blowdryer to set the hair forward and over. In order to get this look to stay put you’ll need a bit of product and a heap load of patience. The key to getting this look is the front sweep. Instead of brushing the hair sideways, which could result in your forehead being unfortunately highlighted, get this look by brushing the hair forwards and then over.
