Who: Imogen Poots

Where: The Premiere of Need for Speed Los Angeles, California

Why we like it: After a crazy Fashion Month, it’s hard to imagine that a simple smoky eye would impress us, but this one definitely did. We love this bold, brick-toned smoky eye and the slightly messy, plaited updo. Imogen is a starlet set to make waves this year and if this is what we can expect from her on the red carpet, we can’t wait to see what she does next.

How to get it at home: Start with a primer or foundation base that gives a hit of radiance, such as BECCA’s Shimmering Skin Perfector ($41), which gives a boost of skincare plus SPF, in addition to providing a glowing base. Then go in with a satin finish foundation, such as Dior’s Capture Totale Foundation ($82), and blend it well from the center of the face outward. Sculpt and shape your brows using Anastasia Beverly Hills’ DIPBROW Pomade ($18), which is an all-in-one formula that helps to set the brows as well as shape them.

We adore this smoky eye and lucky for you, we’ve found a palette that will do most of the work for you. Using the Too Faced The Chocolate Bar Eye Palette ($49), you can easily get this look by layering Cherry Cordial (the rust-toned shadow) with Triple Fudge (a deep brown). Finish off your eyes with a sweep of dark, black liner in the waterline and smudged into the lashes before topping with a bold mascara, such as Blinc’s Mascara Amplified ($26). Last but not least, define and moisturize your lips using a tint, like Tarte’s Power Pigment in Fearless ($24)
